Record Sales for Jane Woolrich

An English Success Story

Jane Woolrich, the English designer who creates some of the world’s most exquisite and romantic nightwear and lingerie, has recorded record sales this year.

Despite the terrible global trading circumstances of the last twelve months, demand is greater than ever for Jane’s luxurious product.

Jane’s small designer company produces all of its product in the heart of England and is seems that the ‘Made In England’ label is an essential element of the brands wide appeal.

Quietly, and with the minimum of publicity, Jane has become a much respected (as well as popular) designer, supplying stores and boutiques throughout the world. Her export business, which represents over 85% of her total sales, has seen her being recognised with awards such as Glamour Designer of the year in New York in 2006.

Her product has always been unashamedly romantic and feminine and has featured recently in catwalk shows in New York, Moscow and Prague.

Jane is proud of the high quality of the product, which is exceptionally well made by her small, dedicated team of seamstresses, many of whom have been with Jane since her company began over 25 years ago.

During that time, there has been a constant trend to move textile manufacturing offshore, however large or small the enterprise.

Jane however, has always believed that her commitment to quality and service should be maintained by supporting British and European suppliers whenever possible.

Although her styling has increasingly developed a ‘couture’ element; always happy to offer her customers their own choice of silks, colours and size ranges, Jane manages to supply store groups as well as some of the world’s most expensive boutiques.

The Jane Woolrich label is available this season in Bentalls as well as several of the UK’s top lingerie retailers. It is also becoming increasingly seen globally, from New York and Los Angeles to Paris, Riyadh, Dubai, Moscow and Tokyo.
